Located in Taipan Business Area, which is bustling in the heart of Subang Jaya, Han Woo Ri is not the gem of the busy township, its location is not quite secluded but worth a try for many korean food lovers.
LOCATION
It is located at 3rd floor, quite secluded and hard to search; right at the other corner lot from Daorae Korean Food. Here is the google map directions.

FOOD
A big big thumbs up for the food. Authentic yet Value for Money. For anyone with budget on their mind, do give their set lunch a try. Good thing is their set lunch is not only available on weekday but also weekends too!
All Set lunch comes with Banchan (side dishes) of 6 plates korean cold dishes which is refillable once and bottomless barley green tea. To top over it, refreshing desserts of a sip of cold barley concentrate and watermelon slices finishes the lunch.
I ordered Kimchi Jigae (Pork) which comes with a bowl of hot rice. Flavorful yet spicy RM18.90 excluding GST (RM 20.05 after GST)
SERVICE
So wonderful as all the waiter serves you and keeps up attention with you. Friendly and always alert on the go when you need any of the help. Right when you come out of the lift, they will stand at the entrance to welcome and bow to you. All the waiter speaks English although they are from Myanmar.
Such korean welcome. Loving it.
AMBIENCE
I get to sit at a corner area which has a side window facing out Taipan Business area. Very quiet yet relaxing, and always I hate when the hood keeps blocking the way in the middle, affecting the mood but the arrangement of the hood is so comfy where it does not block in the middle of the table.
Always grab a magazine while waiting makes the place so cozy and less stressful for a diner place.
A view of Taipan Business Area off my dining area. Low enough for privacy yet High enough for view. |
PRICE
Value for money. I'll give it a 3 thumbs up as you can't ask more for a Korean food which costs less than RM20 with bottomless drink and refillable side dishes.
Even their BBQ priced at RM60 makes it so affordable compared to competitors like Daorae Korean beside it.
Finally, to top it with this korean food review at Subang Jaya, photo of me taken by their friendly staffs. Have a try there folks. :)
